Bethany, MO: Linda Diane Jacobs, 78, of Bethany, Mo., passed away on October 6, 2026. She was born in St. Joseph, Mo., on January 5, 1948.
Linda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was married to the love of her life, Fred Jacobs, for 61 beautiful years. Their enduring love and devotion to one another was a special part of Linda’s life.
Linda is survived by her beloved husband, Fred Jacobs; her children, Diana Cox, LaVonna Paulno, Kimberly Hritz, and Fred Jacobs Jr.; her grandchildren, Kristy Cox, JoVonna Mollus, Justina Richey, Melinda Richey, Ryan Pritchett, Mike Jacobs, Trevor Jacobs, and Alex Jacobs; and her great grandchildren, Trayton Mitchell, Destini Mitchell, Amara Mollus, Freya Mollus, and Maverick Torsak.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Anna and Ralph Davis.
Linda had a generous and compassionate heart and found great joy in giving to others, especially those who were less fortunate. She cared deeply about people and was always willing to help whenever she could. She also enjoyed her trips to Walmart, one of her favorite places to go, and she had a special love for her beloved dog, Baby.
Linda will be remembered for the love she gave so freely, her caring spirit, and the special place she held in the hearts of her family. Her kindness, laughter, and love will live on through the many lives she touched.
She was deeply loved, will be profoundly missed, and will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
