Gilman City R-IV school announces spelling bee results

Gilman City, MO: The Gilman City School District held their school spelling bee on Wednesday, January 18, for grades 5-8. The following students advanced to the Harrison County Spelling Bee on Wednesday, February 8, at the South Harrison Middle School.
5th grade: 1st place-Stormy Cannon, 2nd place-Reagan Crump, 3rd place-Mason Hancock; 6th grade: 1st place-Carter Robertson, 2nd place-Mason Preston, 3rd place-Paisley Taggart; 7th grade: 1st place-Jemma Stotts, 2nd place-Hailey McClure, 3rd place-Dustin Ward; 8th grade: 1st place-Tony Jennings, 2nd place-Pyper Taggart, 3rd place-Koltyn Hancock; 2023 Gilman City Spelling Bee Champion: Tony Jennings
