BETHANY, MO: Payton Craig took first place in the javelin throw at the Early Bird track meet at Grant City.
Craig’s throw of 110 feet, 3 inches was nearly six feet longer than second place Madison Ohrt of East Atchison. Emma Craig placed second in the discus behind Merrideth Spiers of Worth County.
