BETHANY, MO.: Steven Safly, 74, Ridgeway died Friday, June 17, 2016 at his home.
Steve was born July 27, 1941 in Ames, Iowa. He lived in the Gilbert, Iowa area most of his life. He was a farmer, work at Atomic Energy @ ISU; Nelson Construction and served in the Army during the Vietnam Conflict.
Survivors: Wife: Karen; Sons: Todd Safly, Scott Safly, Josh Pickering, Clinton Pickering, Nicholas Pickering; Brothers: Jim Safly, Jack Safly; 10 grandchildren.
Celebration of Life: 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 25, Stratford Evangelical Lutheran Church, Stratford, IA., Visitation: 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the church. Tributes may be left at www.bethanymemorialchapel.com.
