RIDGEWAY, MO: Robert “Robbie” Smith, 26 of Ridgeway, MO passed away Monday, June 20, 2016 at University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City, KS.
He was born May 1, 1990 in Leon, IA the son of Randy and Janell Kay Smith.
Robbie is preceded in death by his mother, Janell Kay Smith; maternal grandpa, Robert Smith; cousin, Kelsey Shea Purdun; paternal grandparents, Rex and Ruby Smith; and uncles, Don and Lynden Smith.
Survivors include his father, Randy Smith; sister, Morgan Smith, both of Ridgeway, MO; half-sister, Strausie Stephens, Malia, NY; half-brother, Zachary Smith, Bethany, MO; fiancé, Shelby Ellis, Ridgeway, MO; maternal grandma, Barbara Smith, Princeton, MO; maternal uncle, Robert Smith, Wichita, KS; maternal aunts, Michelle Smith, Princeton, MO; Carolyn (Troy) Purdun, Princeton, MO; Lisa (Robert) Cornett, Hamilton, MO; paternal uncle, Larry (Jane) Smith, Bethany, MO; paternal aunt Jane (Lee Richardson) Jamis, Liberty, MO; and several cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 24 at Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Blythedale, MO. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
