Richard “Dick” Wilson, 72, Cainsville, died Saturday, July 17, 2021 at Liberty Hospital.
Dick was born November 7, 1978 to Lawrence and Madeline (Booth) Wilson in Kansas City. He married Suzanne (Dake) in 1969 in Kansas City, Kansas.
Dick served in the Navy during the Vietnam Conflict. He work in sales at Radio Shack. He moved to Cainsville in 2006. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Dick was the Mayor of Cainsville, member of the American Legion Post #257, Cainsville; V.F.W. Post #7159, Princeton, Cainsville Betterment Association, Cainsville Christian Church, Cainsville Christian Church Board.
Survivors: Wife: Suzanne of the home; Sons: Richie (Sarah) Wilson, Lathrop, James Wilson, Cainsville; daughter: Shannon (Ricky) Williams, Richmond; sister: Vickey Rowland, Independence; 8 grandchildren.
Services: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Christian Church, Cainsville, with military honors. Cremation will follow services. Family will receive friends 10-11 at the church. Tributes may be left at www.bethanymemorialchapel.com
