Davis Newton Gannan (Doodlebug) 88 Bethany,Mo. Passed away at the home of his daughter, Nancy Zimmerman on Wednesday July 14, 2021 Bethany,Mo.
Davis Newton Gannan was born on May 8th 1933 in Gilman City,Mo. Son of Frankie and Bertha (Ratley) Gannan.
He spent most of his life as a mechanic and farming. He served in the US Army and was Honorable release in 1957 as Specialist Third Class.
He loved fishing,hunting, and being outdoors.
He always looked forward to going on fishing trips with his brother Bert.
Doodlebug is survived by his Daughter: Nancy Zimmerman, Bethany; Sons: Gene Gannan (Nancy), Bethany. Ron Gannan,Washington State.
Four grandchildren: Patrick Zimmerman.
Laura Beth Rieks, Jason and Starr.
Sisters: Bettie Foster,Tipton,Iowa, May Hoyle (Allen), Bethany.
Brother: Roy Gannan (Angela), Granby, Cecil Gannan (Chris), Independence. As well as many nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his parents; sisters: Ruby,Nora, Nadine; Brothers: Samuel, Franklin D, Jimmy, Bert.
There will be no services.
