Retha Parkhurst, 78, Trenton, formerly of Bethany, died Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at North Care Hospice, North Kansas City.
She was born in Webster City, Iowa. Retha had worked in housekeeping at Graceland College for 20 years, also as a nurses aid, custodian at Albany Schools.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Neail and Lillian (Dingman) Hanen; husband: Ferris Parkhurst; brother: Donald Hanen, Sister: Janice Eivins; grandchild: Jimmy.
Survivors: Sons: Michael, Bethany, Ricky, Blythedale, Terry, Bethany, Gerald, Bethany, Christopher, Blythedale David, Albany; Daughter: Pam Dilley, Trenton; Brother: Keith Chelsvig, Lorenceville, IL; 19 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren.
