Mt. Moriah, MO: Peter “Pete” Arnold Fehring, 66, Mt. Moriah, was called home on Sunday, March 10.

Pete was born January 15, 1958, in Ronceverte, W.V. to William James and Erma Elaine (Alderson) Fehring. He married the love of his life, Connie Breer on September 10, 1976. After moving to Missouri, Pete was employed by and retired from Martin Marietta/Norris Quarries.

Anyone who crossed paths with Pete, instantly became a friend. He made each person feel special and loved. He was a family many and didn’t need much outside of them to make his life complete. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, whether it be hunting,, attending ball games, watching Chiefs games or telling them stories, that may or may not have all been true. He was a jokester and enjoyed making everyone smile and laugh. He will truly be missed by so many.

Pete was preceded in death by his parents, father and mother-in-law, Tarz and Mary Breer and step-granddaughter Brittany Zerbe.

Survivors: wife Connie, Mt. Moriah; sona Mike (Kelsey) Fehring, Cameron, Jessie (Becky) Fehring, Gilman City; siblings: Linda (Gary) Fenneman, Providence Village, Texas, Pat Behner, Ames, Iowa, Gary (Chris) Fehring, Mt. Moriah, David (Becky) Fehring, Bethany; 12 grandchildren, three great grandchildren; 13 nieces and nephew and many other family members whom he loved dearly.

Service: March 13, 2024 at First Baptist Church, Mt. Moriah; burial: Sharon Chapel Cemetery, Mt. Moriah. Memorial gift to Connie Fehring. Services under the direction of Bethany Memorial Chapel. Tributes may be left at www.bethanymemorialchapel.com
