John Anthony Costa, 90 of Bethany, Missouri and a former resident of Albany, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2015 at Bethany Care Center.
John, the son of Joseph and Sophia (Fuentes) Costa was born December 21, 1924 in Stockton, California.
John retired from the maintenance department at Northwest Medical Center in Albany.
John was united in marriage to Margaret Newman on July 3, 1944. She preceded him in death on January 30, 2007.
He was also preceded in death by his parents and brothers and sisters.
On March 27, 2009, John married Edith L. Eppley.

Costa, Bethany; daughters, Donna Beckett, New Hampton; Linda Findley, Loveland, CO; Gale Lara, Windsor, CO; Cathy Costa, St. Joseph, MO; step-children, David Hinkle, Weston, MO; Shirley Savage, Karen Taylor and Vernon Cross all of Pattonsburg, MO; Dennis Cross, Bates City, MO; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; many step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren and 2 step-great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside Service and Burial: 10:00 AM Tuesday, June 9 at the Grandview Cemetery, Albany. There will be no calling hours at the funeral home.
