He married Janet Elizabeth Cramer on December 11, 1961.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Mildred Hancock; children, Donald Earl Hancock II, Charles Scott Hancock, and Janice Hancock; brothers, Roy Hancock, Robert Hancock, and Ronald Hancock; sister, Florence Mills.
Survivors include his wife, Janet Hancock of Ridgeway, Mo.; sister, Barbara Stubbs of Pennsylvania; brother, George Hancock (Kay) of Baltimore, Md.; niece, Beverly Earchart (Scott) of Indianapolis, Ind.; granddaughter, Cinnamon Bokorneg (Clint) of Glendale, Arizona; and great grandson, Channing Hancock of Glendale, Ariz.
