Woman ingested meth during traffic stop, patrol officer says

A Bethany woman who was stopped for a traffic violation allegedly ingested methamphetamine in an attempt to hide evidence and was taken to the Harrison County Community Hospital for treatment, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol.
Jacqulyn Marie Lurten, 35, who lives on South 12th Street, was charged last Wednesday by Prosecuting Attorney Johnathan Meyer with possession of amphetamine, tampering with evidence, possession of paraphernalia, failure to signal and failure to wear a seatbelt.
