With a month left until the start of spring and other snowstorms in the forecast, South Harrison school officials believe it’s likely that school will remain in session until after Memorial Day to make up for all of the class days missed this winter.
“We have had some big snow storms in the past, but this year “we are getting big storms every two or three days,” South Harrison Superintendent Dennis Eastin said Monday.
