More winter weather is expected for many parts of the state today. The system will bring snow beginning in the early afternoon and lasting into the late evening in some areas.

Snow is expected to be heavy at times with rates reaching 1 inch per hour with total accumulations in the 2 to 4 inch range for many areas. White out conditions could affect travel with this system. Drivers should use caution and plan accordingly as much of the activity is expected to occur during the afternoon rush hour and the evening commute.

If traveling, make sure to have a full tank of gas before heading out Tuesday. If you encounter car troubles or are involved in a crash, please remain in your vehicle.
