Chosen to speak: Bill Wyant Post 2176 Quartermaster and Mardee Sadowsky. Mardee was chosen by post 2176 to represent them in the VFW Voice of Democracy Oratorical Contest.
Mardee Sadowsky, a student at North Harrison School, was chosen by the Harrison County Memorial VFW post 2176 to represent post 2176 in the VFW Voice of Democracy Oratorical Contest.
In January, at the district 1 meeting in Chillicothe, Mardi’s speech was chosen as the winner in the VFW Department of Missouri District 1 and represent District 1 at the VFW Department of Missouri meeting in Jefferson City February 2. Mardi placed as one of the runner-ups of the 19 district contestants there.
