The South Harrison school board approved a $750 a year increase in base pay for teachers at its meeting Thursday night in the high school library.
The school district also will be paying for an increase in health insurance it pays for teachers and will offer teachers the option of a voluntary dental and vision package. The wage and benefit package will cost the school about $225,000, a 5.3% increase over this year.
