The Republican-Clipper arrived late for subscribers in New Hampton. The newspaper was taken to the Bethany Post Office on Wednesday afternoon as usual. But we began receiving phone calls from readers that their newspapers had not arrived by Friday. The post office stated that a container of newspapers may have been placed on the wrong truck and was sent to Kansas City by mistake. The New Hampton newspapers usually go through the Albany Post office. A postal official at Albany said the newspapers had not arrived by Friday. Newspapers normally are delivered to Harrison County subscribers on Thursday. We apologize for the late arrival.
