Change at Hy-Vee: Longtime produce manager Marty Prewitt turns over the reins to his successor Tyler King, left.

Bethany, MO: After 31½ years of bringing fresh vegetables and fruit to the aisles of the Hy-Vee Food Store, Marty Prewitt retired earlier this month as the produce manager.
Marty actually began work for Hy-Vee 39 years ago when he started out as a sacker and stocker at the store in his hometown of Trenton. He later went to the Chillicothe store to work in the produce department and was hired in 1987 by then-Bethany director Wayne Bryant to be his produce manager.
