Lisa Legge, formerly of Des Moines, said last week in Harrison County Circuit Court that she was an unwitting participant in a home invasion committed by a male companion in March of 2018.
Legge, now living in the St. Louis area, pleaded guilty in a proffer agreement with the state to first-degree robbery and burglary in a break-in at a residence just off the Ridgeway exit on I-35. She avoided prison time by agreeing to testify against Elmer Martin Sorrell, 52, of High Ridge, Mo., who is charged in both Harrison and Daviess counties with robbery and taking part in a shoot-out with a Highway Patrol officer.
