Hatfield, MO: A hunter made a horrific discovery last week when he came upon several dead and dying horses on a farm near Hatfield.
The sheriff’s office called the Missouri Humane Society which sent a team to Harrison County to assist in the rescue of the surviving horses. In a news release, the Humane Society said the Harrison County Sheriff’s office contacted the organization after officers found 11 horses dead and decaying.
