Wind and snow creates beauty: Sun gleams on a snow drift after a dismal Sunday where wind gusts topped 35 miles per hour during snowfall. The weather created low visibility on the interstate and slick streets due to the layer of slush under the snow.

Bethany, MO: A highly unusual November blizzard struck Northwest Missouri on Sunday during one of the busiest travel days of the year.
High winds pushing the snow caused whiteout conditions on much of the region, making travel hazardous. Motorists were left stranded when they had to abandon their cars along Interstate-35, but there were no reports of serious injury accident.
