Only time will tell: Bethany’s Railway Depot is currently receiving renovations to the interior from Bethany’s Street Department. Since the building originated in 1880, the depot still has many elements to be completed before the anticipated completion date. While these renovations continue, ideas of what the building will be used for is still up for debate by Bethany’s City Council.
Bethany, MO: The formerly known Burlington Northern Railway Depot in Bethany was the last active depot in Harrison County. Each day, four passenger and freight trains passed through Bethany.–By Lacey Holcomb
