Family of Frances Briley donates a piece of history to historical society

Bethany, MO: On Wednesday, September 21, historical society representative Les Kelim was presented with a quilt that had once been owned by Frances Briley, a teacher who had taught at South Harrison elementary until she had retired in 1989. Frances Briley’s family were the ones to present the quilt, notably her son Bill Briley, who had been a pastor at 1st Christian Church from 1979 to 1985, daughter-in-law Janet Briley, a retired teacher from Gilman City, and daughter Twyla Jagger, who taught at Tarkio for 33 years.
