South Harrison qualified for the state track meet in five events during the Class 2 sectional meet Saturday at Albany.
Bryce Kirk finished first in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.26 seconds. Teammate Kasey McFall had the best throw of his career (48 feet, 5 inches) when he placed first in the shot put. His throw was nearly a foot longer than his nearest competitor, Isaac Groves of Lathrop.
