Gilman City, MO: Just last week, the Gilman City Hawks participated in 2022 the HDC Conference Basketball Tournament, along with Mercer, Winston, Grundy County, East Harrison, and the Tri-County teams. Both of the Gilman City teams made it into the trophy round where they competed for third place. The Gilman City girls went up against Winston for third, but Winston took the win, beating the Lady Hawks 55 to 45. The Gilman City boys had a bit more luck, beating out Mercer 45 to 34 for the third place spot.
