William G. “Bill” Plymell, 79, New Hampton, Mo., passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at his home.

He was born on March 8, 1940 in Harrison County, Mo. the son of Virgil and Alverta (Ward) Plymell.

On May 1, 1966, he married Hazel O. Noble in Lawrence, Kan. She preceded him in death on January 1, 2016.

Bill was the Vice President of Albert Tamm Lumber Company in Kansas City, Mo., retiring in 2002 and moved back to northwest Missouri to become a full time farmer. He was a member of White Oak Church and Harrison County Cattleman’s Association. He served on the White Oak Cemetery Board, was a White Oak Township Board Trustee and was a Republican Committee Man for White Oak Township. He was an avid bird hunter hunting turkey, quail and pheasant and he loved to fish.

Bill was also preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, Mark Adams.

He is survived by his brothers, Dick (Sue) Plymell, Lee’s Summit, Mo. and Mark (Pam) Plymell, New Hampton, Mo.; sisters, Joyce (Larry) Jennings, Corydon, Iowa and Sharon Adams, Independence, Mo. and many nieces and nephews.
