Blythedale, MO: Vera Jean Baker, 91 of Savannah passed away December 6, 2022. She was born on April 5, 1931, in Blythedale, MO to Elmer and Ruth Huitt. Vera married Curtis (CB) Baker on August 3, 1949, which they celebrated 73 years of marriage.
Proceeded her death are grandson Toby and son-in-law Butch Oliver.
She is survived by husband CB, children Tom (Carol) Baker, Sharon Oliver, Carolyn Anderson, Terry (Shelly) Baker and Larry (Christine) Baker; 11 Grandchildren, 21 Great Grandchildren and 10 Great, Great Grandchildren; family members and friends.
Vera was church choir director in Texas where they wintered for many years. She enjoyed music, fishing, and family dinners where she loved cooking for anyone, hungry or not. She spent many years tending to a large garden and flowers, roses, pansies, and violets always her favorites. Farewell Services and Public Livestream at 1:00 P.M.
