Liberty, MO: Theresa Mary Goepferich Bradfield, 89, Liberty, MO passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021 at a Gower, MO nursing home.
She was born on May 8, 1932 in Deweese, Nebraska the daughter of Victor and Katherine (Heil) Goepferich.
Theresa moved to Des Moines at the age of 16. She worked as a Nanny and a waitress at Howard Johnsons. She also was a house cleaner and occasionally dog sat. She loved roller skating, bowling, and volunteer work at the play house. She enjoyed going to the Tri-Meadows horse and dog races and loved to travel.
She was preceded in death by her parents; infant brother, Leo Goepferich; brothers, Reynold, Harold, Donnie and Bob Goepferich and sisters, Leona Morrow and Patty McQuerry.
Theresa is survived by her brother, Kenneth (Maggie) Goepferich; sisters, Rose Terhune, Agnes Warren, Ardella Moody, Mary McNeal, Betty Grogan, Linda (Bruce) Owens; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Theresa has been cremated under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO.
Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Bethany, MO under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO. Inurnment will follow in Miriam Cemetery, Bethany, MO. There is no scheduled family visitation. Memorials may be made to Three Rivers Hospice in care of Roberson Funeral Home, P.O.
