BLOOMINGTON, MN: Ruth Cunniff, 93, (formerly of Bethany, MO) passed away June 17, 2016 in Bloomington, MN.
She was born October 6 1922 in Sturgeon, MO.
Ruth graduated Bethany High School in 1940 and went on to school in Kansas City. On June 29, 1943 she married William Henry Cunniff in Bethany, MO. She was a loving wife, mother, and aunt. One of her favorite statements was “Look ever to Jesus and He will carry you through.”
She was preceded in death by her husband; infant son, Dane William Cunniff; parents, Herman and Faye Hammond; four sisters and four brothers.
She is survived by her daughter Stephany Ruth Cunniff who participated in the care for her mother in the days surrounding her death; brother, Donald Hammond; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 4 in Miriam Cemetery, Bethany, MO under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO.
