Rollin Eugene Wooden was born on June 10, 1938 in Harrison County to William D. and Ethel M. Elliott Wooden. He passed away on March 20, at the age of 81 years.
His family moved to the Ridgeway area, where he graduated from high school in 1956.
On June 10, 1961 he married Rachel May Pontuis. She survives with their children: Robert Eugene, Randall Dean, Rex Allen Wooden, Susan Renee Hubbell and Sara Joy (Chris) Slavik. The grandchildren are: Andrew (Shana) Hubbell, Ariel and Jared Slavik, Austin Beuklander. Remie Hubbell, great granddaughter.
Rollin is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law, many nieces and nephews, family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers: Wayne, William and Kenneth.
Family visitation 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. Saturday, June 12, with Memorial Services at 2:00 p.m. at Bethany Memorial Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to the Rose Hill Cemetery at Ridgeway or donations to the charity of donor’s choice. Cremation provided by Bethany Memorial Chapel.
