Robert Claris Wright, Sr., 87, Turpin, OK (formerly of New Hampton, MO) passed away Thursday, August 13, 2020 at his home.
He was born on March 14, 1933 in New Hampton, Missouri the son of Claris and Roberta (Blessing) Wright. They preceded him in death.
On June 5, 1953, he married Marjorie Petticord in New Hampton, Missouri. She preceded him in death on May 7, 2004.
He was also preceded in death by his sister, Kathleen Fuston; grandson, Michael Dudeck and great grandson, Brent Murphy.
Robert is survived by his son, Bob Wright, Jr. (Melanie) Turpin, OK; daughter, Pam (Robert) Johnson, Faucett, MO; grandchildren, Chris (Emilee) Wright, Longmont, CA, Cara (Ryan) Brennan, Redwood City, CA, Cole (Kristina) Wright, Turpin, OK, Ryan (Amber) Scroggins, St. Joseph, MO, Bronson Murphy, St. Joseph, MO and Robby (Beth) Dudeck, Savannah, MO; 18 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Robert has been cremated under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO.
Memorial Graveside Services and Inurnment will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 29 in Foster Cemetery, New Hampton, MO under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO. Friends may call from 9:00-10:30 a.m. Saturday at Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO where social distancing will be observed and masks are recommended.
