Patricia Ann Bell, age 86, died Friday, December 6, 2019, at her Lamoni, Iowa home.  She was born November 5, 1933, in Detroit, Michigan, to George Louis and Clarice R. (Aubrey) Faskerty.

Pat grew up in Detroit and graduated from Denby High School in 1951.  In April 1955, she married Gerald David Bell in Detroit.  They were blessed with four children, David, Michael, Robert, and Bridget.  She was a full time wife and mother and enjoyed volunteering for her church.

In the early 1970’s the family moved to Port Huron, Michigan and continued living there until they bought a farm at Washington Center, Missouri.  While they were in the process of moving, Gerald died suddenly on June 30, 1987.  After Pat got settled she started raising beef cattle.  She loved walking out in the fields with the cattle.  She remained active in her church, Blessed Sacrament Parrish, and also volunteered at the American Legion.

Preceding her in death were her parents and her husband.  Survivors include her children, David and Linda Bell of Woodstock, Georgia, Mike Bell of Spickard, Missouri, Bob and Liz Bell of Lamoni, Iowa, and Bridget Bell of Lamoni; seven grandchildren, Nathan & Kelly, Katie & Nathan, Nicholas, Daniel & Judy, Christopher & Teal, Bryan, and Brandon & Maggie; 10 great grandchildren, Eliza, Evelyn, Courtney, Daniel, Michael, Amber, Adam, Blake, Lucas, and Brooklyn; and other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held at the Blessed Sacrament Parrish in Bethany, Missouri at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 28, 2019.  A Rosary will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday at the church with visitation following 7-8 p.m.  A memorial fund has been established by the Family.  Arrangements were through the Slade – O’Donnell Funeral Home in Leon, Iowa.
