Novella Lucille (Booher) Vandiver, 93, St. Joseph, Mo. (formerly of Bethany) went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 2, 2016.
Novella was born on June 22, 1923 in Bethany, Mo., to James and Snow (Barnett) Booher.
Novella married Ronald Dean (Hogie) Vandiver and to that union three daughters were born. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Vandiver had a strong Christian faith and was a former member of Riverside Assembly of God. She was a faithful servant and loved the Lord with all her heart.
Novella enjoyed attending open house on Sunday, garage sales and crafts, but above all loved spending time with her family and grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mrs. Vandiver is survived by her three daughters, Patsy (Jimmy) McDonald, St. Joseph, Mo., Nancy (Richard) Minor, Blue Springs, Mo., Madonna Kinne, Mount Dora, Fla.; seven grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; brother, John (Anna) Booher, Coffey, Mo.; sister, Ruth Ann Priest, Bethany, Mo.; sisters-in-law, Janet Vandiver, Luella Booher, Bethany, Mo.
Novella was preceded in death by her husband, Hogie; parents and siblings, Hellen Rulla, Nellie Booher and James Booher.
Services were held at Heaton-Bowman-Smith and Sidenfaden Chapel of St. Joseph, Mo.; interment: Memorial Park Cemetery.
