Kansas City, MO: Mavis Eileen (Heitz) Collins, age 82, passed away at North Kansas City Hospital in NKC, MO on Friday, August 10, 2018.
Born March 11, 1936, she graduated in 1954 from Ridgeway High School in Ridgeway, MO. She married Wilber (Bud) Collins on June 27, 1954 and retired from Cameron Insurance Company.
Mavis most recently attended Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Liberty, MO before moving to Senior Star at Wexford Place Assisted Living in Kansas City, MO.
Survivors include son, Terry; daughter, Linda Becker (Damon) both of Kansas City, MO; three grandchildren, Kamela, Josiah, and Gabrielle Becker. Mavis was preceded in death by her parents, Julian and Bertha Sue Heitz and brother, Keith Heitz.
Memorial Services will be 1 PM Saturday August 18, 2018 at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church (1600 MO-291, Liberty, MO 64068)
