Mt. Moriah, MO: MaryBelle (Davis) Kidwell, Kansas City, MO., passed away May 3, 2018. She was born at Mt. Moriah, Mo to Wayne and Elsie (Wooderson) Davis on December 2, 1934.
She grew up in Bethany, and following high school graduation, she moved to Kansas City where she has lived since 1953. She and her husband, Bill Kidwell, were married December 3, 1955. She retired from the Federal Government in 1995.
She was an avid reader of books, a lifelong lover of dogs, and had a strong sense of right and wrong which she instilled in her children. She had the courage of her convictions, and always supported the underdog.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Billy, sisters: Donna Graves, Juanita Donovan. She is survived by her son: Terry Kidwell, Kansas City; daughter: Angela (Charles) Orr; grandson: Justin Orr; granddaughter: Kristen Orr all of Gladstone. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews and their families.
Private family services were held at Bethany Memoria Chapel May 4, 2018. Burial at Kidwell Cemetery, Martinsville. Memorial donations may be made to the Kidwell Cemetery in care of the funeral home. Tributes may be left at www.bethanymemorialchapel.com.
