King City, MO: Marilyn (Wardrip) Jones, 82, King City, MO passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord on Wednesday, December 29, 2021.
She was born in Bethany, Missouri on May 4, 1939 to James and Lois (Nelson) Wardrip.
Marilyn loved reading her bible and her fellowship through SBN. She loved all needlework and quilting and most of all visiting with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Lewis, Joseph, James, Carl, and Clifford; her sisters, Louise, Geraldine, Josephine, and Irene; and her two beloved four footed companions, Pete and Sammy.
Marilyn will be lovingly remembered by her brother, Harold Wardrip; daughters, Tammy (Art) Maxwell, Trina (Robert) Jennings, Sherri (Bill) Sprague and son, Shannon Jones; grandchildren, Brent (Sabrina) Burrows, Adam (Jessie) Burrows, Jessie (Kent) Ashby, Jennifer Jennings, Joshua Jones (JoJeana Mendez), Just Sprague (Breanna Phillips), Dalton Jones, Quad Jones and Shalayna Jones; and 13 great grandchildren. Gage and Sydney Jones would visit her often and Gage would frequently ask advice from “the wise old woman”.
Marilyn has been cremated under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be left at www.robersonfuneralhome.com
