New Hampton, MO: Linda Rose Barnett, 77, New Hampton, Mo., passed away Saturday, February 5, 2022 at a St. Joseph, Mo. hospital.
Linda was born June 18, 1944 in Bethany, Mo., the daughter of Lloyd and Lillian Merle (Hendren) Barnett.
Linda was the former manager of Farmer’s Mutual Insurance in Bethany, Mo. for several years. She had a love for animals especially dogs, including her beloved Bentley.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Arletta Crockett.
Survivors include her brother-in-law, Duane Crockett, DeKalb, Mo.; nephews, Alan (Leslie) Crockett, Stanley (Debbie) Crockett and Daniel (Erica) Crockett and niece, Diane (Monte) Searcy.
Linda has been cremated under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, Mo.
Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 12 at Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, Mo. Inurnment will follow in Morris Chapel Cemetery, Bethany, Mo. The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
