Leota King, 82, Ridgeway, MO (formerly of Gilman City, MO) passed away April 2, 2015 at Mosaic Life Center in St. Joseph, MO.
Leota was born January 5, 1933 in Urbana, MO the daughter of William Howard and Viven (Stith) Francis.
On March 15, 1945 she married Hubert M. King in Brimson, MO. He preceded her in death on October 24, 2011. She was also preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jean Francis; and sisters, Ruth “Sugar” Gay and Carol Ellis.
Survivors include a daughter, Phyllis (Danny) Claycomb, Ridgeway, MO; son, Sonny King, Chillicothe, MO; granddaughters, Dallas (Scott) Boswell, Rideway, MO, Robin (Matt) Davidson, Bethany, MO; grandson, Chad King, Allerton, IA; and sister, Louise Patterson, Jamesport, MO.
Graveside Services and burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 8, at Mitchell Cemetery, Melbourne, MO. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 7 at Roberson Funeral Home, Gilman City, MO where friends may call after 2:00 P.M.
