Karen Louise (Johnston) Hamilton was born on October 6, 1940 to Elmer and Edna (Bowen) Johnston. She died November 27, 2019.
Karen graduated Martinsville, Mo. High School and moved to Bethany, Mo. to work at Reed Hospital, then, while working at the Blue Bird Café, she met Leonard Hamilton. They married October 3, 1959.
Karen and Leonard welcomed three children into their life. They purchased a farm in Harrison County, Mo.
Survivors: sons, Ken (DeAnne) and Russ (Theresa) Hamilton; daughter, Kathleen (Gene) Hatfield, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters-in-law and brothers in-law.
