Bethany, MO: Joanne Snead, 85, Bethany, MO passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at her home.
She was born on August 23, 1934 in Coffey, Missouri, the daughter of Guy Young and Willa Mae (Pugh) Foster.
On July 10, 1954, she married Kenneth Snead in Martinsville, Missouri. He preceded her in death on April 21, 2008 after 53 years of marriage.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; an infant sister and brother; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Charley and Wilma (Baker) Snead; two sons-in-law, Mike Breer and Ellison Preston; nephew, Dale Foster, and sisters-in-law and their spouses, Barbara Foster, Jim Vaughn, Worth and Leah Vandivert and Marlin and Eleanor Meredith.
Joanne is survived by her two daughters, Peggy Breer and Betty Preston; 8 grandkids; 24 great grandkids and 3 great-great grandkids with 1 on the way; two brothers, Darrell Foster, Venice, FL and Byron Foster, Primghar, IA; sisters-in-law, Justine Vaughn and Elaine (Lavern) Meinecke, lots of nieces and nephews and her beloved dog, Princess.
The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Sunday, November 10 at Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO. There are no scheduled services.
