Jo Buckingham, 88 Bethany died Sunday, March 12, 2017 at Bethany Care Center.
Carol “Jo” Josephine Buckingham was born September 11, 1928 at Mt. Moriah to Lester Cleetis and Zelma Ruth (Dinsmore) Bane. She married John Robert Buckingham, November 3, 1946 at Cainsville. Her husband and parents preceded her in death. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Bethany and a clerk at B & W Furniture before retiring.
Survivors: Daughters: Janet (Dave) Nydegger, N. Little Rock, AR, Nancy (Gene) Gannan, Bethany, Joni (the late Scott) Strike, N. Little Rock, AR; 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Bethany Memorial Chapel, burial: Sharon Chapel Cemetery, Mt. Moriah; Family visitation 6-8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial gifts: First Christian Church. Tributes may be left at www.bethanymemorialchapel.com.
