Jackie Ray Webb Sr., 77, of Gilman City, MO passed away Thursday, March 10, 2016 at Wright Memorial Hospital, Trenton, MO.

He was born June 28, 1938 in Jameson, MO the son of Robert and Faye (Brown) Webb. Jackie attended and graduated from Jameson High School in 1956. Jackie wed Sarah Gooding on August 21, 1959. She survives at home.

Jackie joined the United States Army in 1958 and served in Korea. He was discharged in 1960. After the service, Jack began work with Frank and Donna Wilson at Wilson House Movers. Jack was also employed on night shift at the Ford Plant in Claycomo for 13 years. Jack purchased his first farm in Harrison County in the late 60’s and began farming full time. He enjoyed farming and running his bull dozer.

Jack never met a stranger and was always willing to help anyone in need. Jack will be missed dearly by his family and friends.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Faye Webb; sisters, Carolyn Allen and Dorothy Parker; brother, Bob Webb; brothers-in-law, Ephriam Harmon and Frank Wilson; and 2 infant siblings.

In addition to his wife, Sarah, survivors include daughters, Pam (Kent) Tonnies, Kim (Bill) Ten Hulzen; son, Jackie Jr. (Deb) Webb, all of Gilman City, MO; sisters, Elsie Harmon, Omaha, NE, Donna Wilson, Trenton, MO, Janie (Paul) Plowman, Weatherby, MO; brother, Gary Webb, Kansas City, MO; brother-in-law, Lloyd Allen, Gallatin, MO; sisters-in-law, Virginia Webb, Oceanside, CA, Venita Gallamore, Cameron, MO, JoAnne Angles, Tuscon, AZ; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 14 at the First Baptist Church of Gilman City, MO. Burial will follow in Masonic Cemetery, Gilman City, MO under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO. The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. Monday at the church.
