Bethany, MO: Leland Ray Hamilton, 72, of Bethany, MO passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at a St. Joseph, MO hospital.
He was born July 3, 1945 in Bethany, Missouri, the son of Samuel Jasper and Fern Agnes (Houk) Hamilton.
Leland was known for his love of family and the Lord, and always had a friendly welcoming smile. He worked at Car Quest in Bethany for 35 years. He graduated from Ridgeway School where he was an active participant in FFA. He was loved by many, as he never knew a stranger.
Leland was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Hazel; and son, Leland Hamilton, Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Annie, daughter, Cheryl Miller, of Bethany MO , and sons, Sam (Salinda) Hamilton, of Cainsville, MO, Tony Hamilton, of Bethany, MO; four grandchildren, and several cousins.
Leland has been cremated under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO.
