Bethany, MO: Gary W. Wood, 75, Bethany, MO passed away Sunday, July 15, 2018 at a Wathena, Kansas nursing home.
He was born March 4, 1943 in McFall, Missouri the son of Cleo Wood and Minnie (Bowman) Wood Sexton.
Gary graduated from King City High School. He worked as the gas superintendent for the City of Bethany and retired after several years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; step-father, B. Sexton; his wife, Patty Wood on April 28, 2017; brothers, Norman and Eugene Wood; 2 infant sisters and his son, Steven Wood.
Survivors include a son, Charles (Paula) Wood; step-sons, William and Phillip Coon and several grandchildren.
Memorial Graveside Service and Inurnment will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 19 at Ridgeway Cemetery, Ridgeway, MO under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO.
