Ellison T. “George” Preston, 59, Bethany, Mo., passed away Sunday, February 24, 2019 at his home.
He was born on October 6, 1959 in Bethany, Missouri the son of Corlas Theodore and Audra Maurine (Shackelford) Preston.
On September 13, 2013, he married Betty Loving in Bethany, Mo. She survives of the home.
George was a farmer and worked for Callaway Farms, Inc.
He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Kenneth Snead and brother-in-law, Mike Breer.
George is also survived by his children, Jaimie Smith (Mike Parker) Liberty, Mo., Jake (Brooke) Loving and Colt (Misty) Loving both of Bethany, Mo., and Brandi Wonsetler, Albany, Mo.; parents, Ted and Maureen Preston, Bethany, Mo.; brother, Rodney (Amy) Preston, Bethany, Mo.; sister, Teresa (Lynn) Parsons, Hatfield, Mo.; mother-in-law, Joanne Snead, Bethany, Mo.; sister-in-law, Peg Breer, Bethany, Mo.; 16 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, a host of friends and loved by aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family would like to thank the Callaway Family for their kindness and compassion all throughout George’s illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. (today) Wednesday, February 27 at Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, Mo. Burial will follow in Lloyd Cemetery, Mt. Moriah, Mo. The family will receive friends from Noon-2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home where friends may call after 9:00 a.m. Wednesday.
