CAINSVILLE, MO: Ellen Jeannine Davenport, 82 of Cainsville, MO passed away Monday, November 14, 2016 in Princeton, MO.
She was born August 7, 1934 in Princeton, MO the daughter of George Calvin and Grace Lanora (Hunter) Sparks. She was the second girl of 4 and 8 boys.
Ellen worked as a housekeeper for William Jewell College.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, George, Carl, Joe, Roy, Ray, Wayne, Fred Dean, Byron Earl; and sisters, Hellen Mae, Velda and Patricia.
Survivors include her sons, Jim (Loraine) Davenport, Valley, NE, David Davenport, Grand Island, NE; daughters, Hellen (Jim) Davenport White, Bellevue, NE, Dawn “Dee” Thompson, Kansas City, KS; 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Ellen chose to donate her body to the University of Missouri, Columbia under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Princeton, MO.
