Douglas L. “Crash” Long, 65, Bethany, MO passed away Monday, December 20, 2021 at his daughter’s home.
He was born on August 24, 1956 at a United States Air Base in Puerto Rico the son of Allen L. and Louise (Whited) Long.
Doug worked for the city of Bethany as an equipment operator for the gas department. He was a member of the Tribe of Micosay, served on the group home board and was a softball coach.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Lynda Long and twin brother, David Long.
Doug is survived by Penny Servic, of the home; daughters, Jessica (Phillip Galloway) Long, Bethany, MO and Jillian Long, Bethany, MO and their mother, Regina Long; grandchildren, Taylar, Mariah, and Mason; brother, Mark (Karen) Long, Cameron, MO; sister, Myra Moore, Lee’s Summit, MO; sister-in-law, Mary Long and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, December 27 at Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO. Burial will follow in Miriam Cemetery, Bethany, MO.
