St. Joseph, MO: Dolores Elaine Bartlett, St. Joseph, MO (formerly of Bethany, MO) passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at the age of 90 years.
She was born on August 12, 1931, in Bethany, MO the daughter of Clayton and Daisy (Mitchell) Barnett.
She was united in marriage to Ray Victor Bartlett on December 30, 1949. He preceded her in death on May 25, 2003.
Dolores was a homemaker and later on worked at a local bakery, The Hub Restaurant, and Wal-Mart. She enjoyed painting ceramics, flower gardening, and reading.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Kenneth Barnett.
Dolores is survived by her sons, Michael (Candace) Bartlett, Country Club, MO and Steven (Carmen) Bartlett, Blue Springs, MO; sister, Sharon Beeks, Bethany, MO; sister-in-law, Jeannie Barnett and she was “Grammy” to her 6 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 1 at Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO. Burial will follow in Miriam Cemetery, Bethany, MO. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
