GILMAN CITY, MO: Dale Lee Ratliff, 89 of Gilman City, MO passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Liberty Hospital, Liberty, MO.
He was born September 28, 1927 in the Coon Creek are of Grundy County, MO the son of Lee and Fay (Long) Ratliff.
On September 25, 1949 he married Bonnie Huffman in Gilman City, MO. She survives of the home.
Dale was a graduate of Gilman City High School and served in the United States Air Force. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Gilman City, served on the Noel T. Adams Ambulance Board, and was a former Mayor of Gilman City. He also worked as a farmer and truck driver.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Fay Ratliff; 4 sisters, Vivion McAtee, Margaret Waterbury, Aville Robertson, and Deloris Pierson.
Survivors in addition to his wife, Bonnie, include daughters, Vicki McKiddy, Jamesport, MO, Jacki (Don) Duffy, Kearney, MO; sisters, Winifred Burrows, Gallatin, MO, Carolyn (Virgil) Griffin, Coffey, MO; brothers, Darrell (Deloris) Ratliff, Gilman City, MO, Jim (Linda) Ratliff, Bethany, MO; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 7 at the First Baptist Church, Gilman City, MO under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO. Burial with Military Rites will follow in Christian Union Cemetery, Gilman City, MO. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the church.
