Cathy Sue Smith, 63, Bethany, MO passed away Monday, September 30, 2019 at a Kansas City, Kansas hospital.
She was born on September 6, 1956 the daughter of Dean and Marilyn (Johnson) Jamis.
On October 12, 1991 she married Rick Smith in Bethany, Missouri. He survives of home.
Cathy was a member of the New Hampton Christian Church, Bethany Community Association and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She was the financial officer of the Harrison County Food Pantry and oversaw the Back Pack Buddy Program and she was a former Girl Scout Leader. She was also a very proud grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her father, Dean Jamis.
In addition to her husband, Cathy is survived by her daughter, Bridget (Rob) Maloney, Trenton, MO; grandchildren, Ross and Emmaleigh; mother, Marilyn Jamis, Bethany, MO and brothers, Mike Jamis, Bethany, MO and Jim Jamis, Parkville, MO.
Cathy has been cremated under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO. Memorial Graveside Services and Inurnment will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 5 in White Oak Cemetery, New Hampton, MO. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday at Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO.
